Terms of Service
Service Area and Scope
Restore & Repel provides restoration and repair services within the service area we confirm at the time of your inquiry. Availability, scheduling, and project acceptance are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the loss and our current capacity. These terms govern your use of our website and your initial contact with us; they are not a substitute for the work authorization or service agreement you sign before any physical work begins.
Estimates Are Not Binding Contracts
Any estimate, quote, or scope summary provided over the phone, by email, or during an initial walkthrough is a good-faith assessment based on visible conditions at that time. It is not a binding agreement. Actual scope, pricing, and timeline are finalized in a written work authorization signed by both parties once hidden damage, material conditions, and access issues have been fully assessed. Conditions discovered once work begins, such as saturation behind finished surfaces or additional affected materials, may change the scope documented in your signed authorization.
Payment Terms
Payment terms, deposit requirements, and accepted methods are specified in your signed work authorization. We accept standard payment methods disclosed at the time of contract signing. Amounts billed directly to an insurance carrier remain the homeowner’s or property owner’s responsibility if a claim is denied, reduced, or delayed, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Insurance Coordination
When you authorize us to do so, we document the loss, photograph affected materials, and communicate with your insurance carrier or adjuster to support your claim. We are not a party to your insurance policy and do not guarantee coverage, claim approval, or reimbursement amounts. Any disagreement over coverage is between you and your carrier; we will provide documentation to assist that process where we can.
Licensing and Liability
Restore & Repel operates as a contractor within Massachusetts state regulations applicable to the work performed. Our liability for any service is limited to the scope defined in the signed work authorization for that project. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, code upgrades required by local authorities, or damage outside the documented scope of work. Any warranty on completed work is the warranty stated in your signed agreement, not an implied guarantee beyond those terms.
Dispute Resolution
If a disagreement arises regarding a completed or in-progress project, we ask that you contact us directly first so we can review the signed work authorization and project documentation together. Formal disputes are handled according to the resolution process outlined in that signed agreement and under applicable Massachusetts law.
Website Use
Content on this website is provided for general information about our services and is not a quote, contract, or guarantee of availability. We may update these terms periodically; continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
